Yesterday was a day of firsts, and I wanted so badly to update last night. We stayed the night at a lodge on the rim of the Grand Canyon, and there was no
Internet access. We rode on this train into the Grand Canyon. It was my first train ride, and I sort of felt like I was on Hogwarts Express or the Polar Express, minus the carts of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and mugs of steamy hot chocolate of course!
This was one of the first views we had of the Grand Canyon. Pictures do not even do it justice. I wish that my camera could pick up the colors, the depths, and the vastness of this incredible creation. We took a bus tour around the Southern rim and saw several different views.
