I've been reading a devotional prayer book that my Mammaw gave me a couple of Christmases ago called Praying God's Word by Beth Moore. I have been very encouraged by the daily thoughts and verses. This book has also introduced me to the spiritual discipline of praying scripture. I've been amazed at the power of prayer when I repeat God's promises and truths back to Him.

I thought I'd share two of the daily thoughts that have made an impression on me recently.
