{JPB Day 19} DIY: Comment Frame

I just finished another Do It Yourself project. Yet again, it was very simple, but I still had a thrill of satisfaction when I saw the end result. My sister gave me the inspiration to do this one, and apparently she'd seen it on Pinterest.
I call this my Comment Frame. I don't know the Pinterest-y word for it. Probably something super cute and clever. I'll just refer to it as my Comment Frame since that's what it's for, to write encouraging comments on (original, I know).

{1}
I began with a sheet of scrapbook paper, an empty frame, a strait edge cutter, and a pair of scissors. The rest is easy. I cut the paper to fit inside the frame. Done.

The Comment Frame stayed like this for a couple of weeks until I bought a sharp-tipped wipe off marker.

Then I set it on Michael's dresser to write daily notes to him, whether they be something I love about him, an encouragement, or a thank you. Here is today's note.
