{JPB Day 15} Outlet Mall and Downtown Boulder

Took the day for just the two of us, since it is technically our anniversary trip after all. After whole wheat blueberry pancakes, we spent several hours doing some personal shopping at a nearby outlet mall.

Outside the courthouse in Boulder

Strolling through downtown Boulder. We ate at a trendy restaurant named Salt, which only serves dishes made from organic and local ingredients. It was very refreshing to eat at a restaurant that shares our point of view on food. It was very Boulder-esque.

Last stop before heading back to Denver- we had to tour Whole Foods Market. I wish we had one of these within a hundred miles of our hometown. I know, I know, you're thinking "why on earth would you go to a grocery store on vaca?" It was kinda strange; I'm sure people thought we were crazy! We walked around and exclaimed over all the products, with no basket or shopping cart. We just ignored the funny looks :)

Thanks so much to Michael's cousin Mark and his wife Katie (of lemonjitters.com) who live in Boulder for showing us around town and eating dinner with us. It was neat having an insiders view.
