New Cowboy Boots

Ok, so anyone who knows me knows that I love wearing cowboy boots. The ones that I've been wearing are my sister's hand-me-downs. I must admit that they have gotten pretty ratty. But I loved them, so I wore them alot. Last weekend, Michael graduated, and because of this was given some money as a present. He decided to go to the western wear store in town to get some cowboy boots. As we were walking out the door, it hit me. I have left-over graduation money, too! (Yes, I know, I'm a money-hoarder. I graduated 6 months ago.) I thought, why not spend some of my money on something that I really love and that I would wear often. So I stopped right in my tracks and said, "Michael, I could get cowboy boots with my left-over graduation money, too!" Of course, he thought this was a wonderful idea, and like a good sport, followed me back into the house and into my room so that I could count and be sure that I had enough to buy a good pair of boots but still have some extra money left over(because Heaven forbid I spend it all at once, even 6 months from when I got it). Then we went to the store, and guess what?!
I bought brand new cowboy boots!
See the picture above. I just absolutely love them. As Michael would say, they are legit. The guy we bought them from said that this was a brand new style, and that they had sold several of these in the last few days. Even if he hadn't been such a good salesman, I would've bought this pair anyway. I tried on several, but these were it. You know, when you know, you know. So now we're back at my house, and the first thing I did was put them on. The second thing I did was say, "Michael, take a picture of my cowboy boots so I can put them on my blog!"
