Moringa: The Miracle Tree

Sometimes when you know about something that can be beneficial to everyone, you have to just share it.

This is part of the reason I have been so vocal about our experiences with eating whole food. I apologize that the whole of my blog has been taken up with this concept over the past several months. It is really something I think about quite often. It has become a part of my life that I treasure, that is important to me, and with which I take great care.

About three weeks ago, Michael and I were invited to attend an informational meeting about a product called Zija. In short, Zija is a product that is benefiting people all over the world through nutrition, weight loss, and skin care. I was very cautious about this at first, specifically because excluding my whey protein powder and morning cup of coffee, I am not an advocate of putting anything in my body that will alter its normal functions. I don't drink energy drinks, and I don't even like taking medicine for things like headaches or allergies (which Michael finds insane). I just don't like my body being made to do something that I can't control. Needless to say, when I first heard about Zija I was pretty skeptical.

However, at the meeting I learned information about Zija that made me curious to try it. The main interest-piquing part (and later what convinced me of its authenticity) of Zija is that all Zija products, from the liquid nutrition to the facial cleanser in the skin care line, are made from different parts of a tree named the Moringa Oleifera tree. Moringa Oleifera is changing lives. Literally, scientifically and pharmaceutically proven to be changing lives all over the world. Please watch this Discovery Channel documentary when you have about 10 minutes to spare.

From cancer-fighting antioxidants, to protein-building amino acids that fight starvation and malnutrition, to water purification capabilities, to its anti-inflammatories, to the ability of the oil from its seeds to regenerate skin cells, Moringa trees are literally the first aid kit of many third world countries.

If people all over the world are experiencing benefits from Moringa Oleifera and seeing life-changing results, I want to share in the benefits too. That's where Zija comes in. We have been using Zija products for about three weeks. We both drink the liquid nutrition powder daily to provide our bodies with essential vitamins and minerals, along with amino acids and antioxidants, that we can't get even from eating a whole food diet. I have been using the oil on my skin graft, surgery, and wound scars. Michael has been using the moisturizing lotion on his badly cracked and dry hands. We have even swapped our morning coffee with the energy powder. Even though it's early on, we can both see benefits from using this product. For example, I am not irritable and cranky at the end of the school day when I drink the liquid nutrition instead of coffee in the morning.

Since so much "bad" junk is being cut from our diet, I feel that it is important to add "good" nutrients in its place to fill those empty spaces. Zija, along with balanced whole food, is one way we're doing that.

Hi Jana,
What all Zija products are y'all using? I keep hearing about it. If I was going to order something, what would you suggest I start with?
Thanks,
Mandy Ginn (Wanda's daughter-my mom showed me your blog the last time I was home) :)

Hi Mandy! I know just who you are from when I worked with your mom. I just love her, by the way!

We are using the Smartmix(liquid nutrition), XM+(liquid nutrition with added energy), and the chocolate protein meal replacement. I would suggest starting with these if you are just wanting to get familiar with the product. I can give you way more info about Zija through email if you are interested. Mine is janadavis02@gmail.com. I can give you a much more detailed and decent answer that way! :)
