Pumpkin Spiced and Iced Cookies

In the spirit of Fall, I could not resist doing a bit of baking this afternoon. I discovered this recipe not long ago and just HAD to test it. The Nestle Toll House Pumpkin Spiced and Iced cookies were a hit with Michael! Dense, spicy, and slightly sweet....warm from the oven with a tall glass of milk was Heaven in my mouth.
Here's the recipe:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice (I will use more next time to get a richer, spicier flavor)
1 teaspoon baking poweder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 can (15 oz) pumpkin
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups (12 oz package) Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips
Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking poweder, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter and granulated sugar in large mixing blowl until creamy. Beat in pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12-15 min. at 375 degrees. Cool completely. Drizzle with Vanilla Glaze.
Vanilla Glaze:
Combine 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract in small bowl. Mix well.
On another note, this is what Deuce has been doing lately.
