It's Monday night! Monday night is one of my favorite nights of the week because my girlfriends and I get together to watch The Bachelor. This is a tradition that has been going on for years, ever since I was a sophomore in college- which was about 3 years ago. Gol-ley I'm getting old! Especially since my birthday is tomorrow, and I'll be 23. Ahh! So hard to believe. Anyway, I love the time we get to spend together just us girls. Now don't get me wrong, I crave spending time with Michael, and I completely enjoy our time together, but Monday nights are special. It's that time where we can talk about girl things, lounge around in sweats, and just be comfortable with each other. Tonight though, it's just me and Christy. For some reason or other, all the other girls couldn't make it, so it's just us sisters. I love spending time with Christy by ourselves. It's just so natural, and we have such a close relationship. We are comfortable, honest, and candid with each other. Besides Michael, she is my favorite person to spend time with. So tonight is a treat!
Michael and I booked our honeymoon over the weekend! We are going to Antigua, an island in the southeastern Caribbean. I am very excited. Things are definitely beginning to become more real. I love my life right now. I love dreaming about the things that are happening and are about to happen to me. Bridal showers, and the honeymoon, and house hunting, and the wedding, and getting to wake up every day next to Michael. God has blessed me so much. Every day I know it more and more, and every day I feel more grateful to the Lord for his faithfulness, love, and blessings.
