Oh Me, Oh My, How Time Does Fly!

The seasons are changing.

I know this for sure because of three things: (1) My car is green with pollen, (2) I'm off for Spring Break, (3) I have a sudden hankering to wear skirts, my spring and summer go-to clothing choice.

Ah, Springtime. Everything this spring is new for me. Michael and I recently bought a house, and I moved in a couple of weeks ago. It's been fun deciding where we want to put our few pieces of furniture, what cabinets we want our dishes to go in, and how we want to decorate Our Space. Our Space. I like the sound of that! I'll be batching it for the next 72 days until after we say "I do," then Michael gets to move in, too. Really, this house is not complete without him! I can't wait until he can actually live here with me!

I can't believe we're already down to 72 days. That's 10 weeks, people! And so much to do within those 10 weeks, which is a good thing. I'm glad I'll be busy, otherwise I would go crazy with the waiting. Today is not too busy though. I'm enjoying just sitting on our couch with a load of clothes in the washer and relaxing my mind by having the luxury of time to update my blog. Speaking of updating.... I thought it was about time this old blog had a face lift. Everything else is new, and this blog is supposed to be a reflection of my life, so ta-da! The new and improved(hopefully) Beauty for Ashes.

Change has always been rather difficult for me. This season, however, it is a good change. A change I can relish in and thoroughly enjoy. Yes, my life may be a changing whirlwind of priorities, locations, decisions, and to-do lists, but that doesn't mean that I can't be happy about a change once in a while! Good-bye old track record of fear and negativity. Hello bright and sunny future of anticipation, intrigue, and joy!
